Activision Gives Release Dates for New Spider-Man, X-Men, and Prototype 2

Activision has announced the release dates for three of their upcoming titles at Comic-Con.

Along with their heaviest hitter, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Activision will be releasing both Spider-Man: Edge of Time and X-Men Destiny this Fall. X-Men Destiny kicks off their release schedule on September 27th. The following week on October 4th, Spider-Man: Edge of Time will arrive at retailers. 

The mega-publisher also announced a release date for Prototype 2, which is pegged for April 24, 2012. Keep in mind that this is early for a date to be set in stone; delays are always possible.

Star Citizen will consist of two main components: first person space combat and trading in a massively multiplayer persistent universe and customizable private servers (known as Star Citizen), and a branching single-player game (known as Squadron 42).
