PlayStation Plus Gamers Get Dead Space 3, Strider, More in July

PlayStation gamers have seen the benefits of their PlayStation Plus subscriptions grow in the last few months with the addition of "free" PlayStation 4 games each month, but July adds great titles on all three PlayStation platforms.

PlayStation 4 owners who have subscribed to PlayStation Plus get to play games online, but they'll also get Towerfall: Ascension and Strider on their next-gen console this month. Read our Strider review before the game becomes available next month.

PlayStation 3 gamers will get the cooperative action-game, Dead Space 3 and the downloadable Vessel in July. Some decried Dead Space 3 for getting a little too action-oriented when the first game made such a huge splash with heavy-handed horror, but I still think it's worth your time with a friend who also has a PS+ subscription. Read my review here.

Finally, PlayStation Vita owners will get Doki-Doki Universe and Muramasa Rebirth. While Doki-Doki Universe is a total oddity, it should give commuters and other portable fanatics a quick break from the rest of July's PS+ lineup. Muramasa Rebirth is easily one of the better PS Vita games, though you might recognize it from the original Wii version. Click here for our review of Muramasa: The Demon Blade on Wii.

These free games compliment the Summer Blast PSN Sale on now.
