Redditor Shares Poster Suggesting New Mortal Kombat to Be Revealed at E3

Redditor Itshappening24 posted the image above to the XboxOne subreddit yesterday with the title "Yes! Must mean an announcement is soon…" but other than the obvious fan fervor for a new Mortal Kombat game following the reboot in 2011, we can't say for sure that a new series entry will materialize any time soon.

The redditor was using a new account and seemed to agree with other users who shared tweets from series creator Ed Boon. Comments seem to imply that the user is a GameStop or other retail employee and that the posters could be available as preorder goodies after the game is announced.

One user asked where the image came from and Itshappening24 replied flat out "Most likely will be the poster you get for preordering the game once it's finally announced." Another user commented "If one of those posters could accidentally go missing could you mail it to me" and Itshappening24 said "Haha!! I can't man. Just gonna have to wait. You will be able to get them soon".

One thing's for sure, we'll know more at E3 2014, the biggest games conference in the world. Look for more on GameRevolution soon.
