Plants Vs. Zombies quickly became one of my favorite game franchises for its inventive use of character, its bright vibrant colors, and its challenging and deep gameplay. I first played the game on Xbox 360, but using a PC with mouse and keyboard will only make the action more frantic and engaging.

Electronic Arts is giving the game away for free to promote the launch of Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare which will arrive on PC on June 24th. We loved Garden Warfare on Xbox One and awarded it a score of 5 out of 5. Read our full review here.

You can preorder Garden Warfare for PC via Origin after you get your free download of the original Plants Vs. Zombies.
