Gaming in Color Gets out of the Closet And Into the Arcade

A new documentary aims to explore the LGBT community and its relationship with gaming, but the creators are releasing it in a pay-what-you-want format meaning you can watch Gaming in Color for as little as $1.

The creators say:

Gaming In Color is a full length documentary exploring the queer side of gaming: the queer gaming community, gaymer culture and events, and the rise of LGBTQ themes in video games. Diverse queer themes in storylines and characters are still mostly an anomaly in the mainstream video game industry, and LGBTQ gamers have a higher chance of being mistreated in social games. Gaming In Color explores how the community culture is shifting and the industry is diversifying, helping with queer visibilty and acceptance of an LGBTQ presence.
