Nintendo Joins White House’s Easter Egg Roll

Okay, so the icon for this article is misleading. It has nothing with Yoshi eggs, but there should have been. So to compensate, I'll start flipping words over easy. (Bah!)

Nintendo of America will be co-sponsoring the 136th White House Easter Egg Roll today, hosted by the First Family, with this year's theme being "Hop into Healthy, Swing into Shape" in line with the First Lady's "Let's Move" initiative; hence, Nintendo's participation with Wii Sports Club and Wii Fit U. What, no Konami with Dance Dance Revolution? Or Crypt of the NecroDancer?

The event itself, which can be viewed live on the official White House homepage and takes place on the White House's South Lawn, will feature cooking stations, sports courts, storytelling sessions, live music, and Easter egg rolling with eggs made out of wood. Sounds egg-citing! Oh, come on, just keep your sunny side up! Stop being so hard-boiled!
