Stick It to the Man Releasing on PS4

Originally released last year on December 13, 2013, the critically-acclaimed Stick It to the Man will be arriving on the PlayStation 4, as announced via press release by Swedish Zonk Games and UK publisher Ripstone. At the time of this writing, it rests at a Metacritic score of 83—not too shabby for an indie adventure title.

Having seen this earlier at GDC at the Nintendo booth, I was struck by the game's quirkiness that combines the psychological craziness of Psychonauts with the point-and-click puzzling of The Secret of Monkey Island. Out of the litany of titles I saw at the booth, this one was the most creative and humorous (though it was already out). I mean, how else would you describe a character who has a springy, neon-pink, psychic spaghetti arm jutting out of his head and who has awoken with strange Jean Grey mind-reading abilities?

To fit its soon-to-be home on the PlayStation 4, the developer will be upgrading the graphics to 1080p and the PS4 controller's speakers will be "used to tap into characters thoughts in the game."

The PS4 version will release May 6, 2014 in the US (April 30 in Europe), and arrive on Wii U in late Spring 2014. Check out the game's Steam page for more information.
