NPD: PS4 Console Sales Nearly Double Xbox One in January

Last month, nearly twice as many PlayStation 4 consoles were sold in the United States as Xbox Ones.

This news comes courtesy of NPD, via SVP of PlayStation Brand Marketing, Guy Longworth, and GTTV's Geoff Keighley, who posted on Twitter:

 

But it doesn't stop there, as sales for Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on PS4 also apparently trounced the Xbox One version 2:1. "Also, I'm told by Sony that @tombraider on PS4 outsold the Xbox One version 2:1," Keighley posted in a followup tweet.

Star Citizen is an upcoming space trading and combat simulator video game for Microsoft Windows. Star Citizen will consist of two main components: first person space combat and trading in a massively multiplayer persistent universe and customizable private servers (known as Star Citizen), and a branching single-player game (known as Squadron 42). The game will also feature VR support.
