[Update] Dark-Fantasy RPG Bound by Flame Announced for PS4, but Not Xbox One

[Update] It was previously reported that Bound by Flame would be exclusive for Sony consoles, but it will also be available for Xbox 360 and PC. There are no plans, however, for an Xbox One version.

[Original] Just take a look at the trailer above. Bound by Flame by Spiders Studio looks far better than I expected.

Producer for Spiders Studio, Walid, has announced its first RPG for both PS4 and PS3 on the official PlayStation Blog. This dark-fantasy action-adventure that looks like a cross between Darksiders and God of War features a world with icelords, undead, wizards, and a mercenary named Vulcan who has been possessed by a fire demon.

Combat will allow you to booby trap the environment and fling fireballs at enemies before you break their attacks with a mighty axe or hammer. That said, you'll need to be aware of your breaking resistance if you don't want a giant boss to break your attacks in turn. Switching to the dual-dagger rogue stance will grant you the ability to dodge quickly. The armor customization also looks to be quite extensive and more than simple cosmetic changes.

Bound by Flame plans to release in Q2 2014. Check out a few of the screenshots below.
