Konami and MercurySteam have released a brand new video detailing Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, this time with focus on the game's expansive and open environment.
Producer Dave Cox and studio head Enric Alvarez talk about the game's modern setting and the changes they've made to the world around the player. "This time we have a seamless world, a world without any loading time," says Alvarez.
"You explore the modern city and you explore Dracula's castle, which is part of the city," Cox explains. "So the city has grown around the castle."
During our hands-on time with Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, the free-moving camera made for some impressive views of Gabriel's surroundings. There are some impressive drops, towering castle constructs, and plenty of Castlevania mood and atmosphere.
