Casltevania: Lords Of Shadow 2 Reveals Full(?) Cast

We're looking forward to Castleavania: Lords of Shadow 2, launching February 25th on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC and this trailer makes it just that much harder to hold out hope for a happy ending in Gabriel's saga. I mean… normally Castlevania games end on a good note. Dracula dead, castle destroyed. You know the drill. But what happens if… you are Dracula?

Check out our hands-on preview from earlier this month for the set up. We're hoping to have more on Lords of Shadow 2 soon, but you can expect Konami to tease out more as we get closer to release.

As you'll see in my preview, Konami and Mercury Steam has changed the engine to enable a fully explorable open world (the first Lords of Shadow consisted of segmented chapters, some longer and some shorter in length) and a player-controlled camera system so you can frame Gabriel as you explore and fight off demons.

These are pretty radical changes for a franchise to make between games, but if done right each address issues the first game had. Read our full Casltevania: Lords of Shadow review and if you're curious about Lords of Shadow 2, you can get the original on Steam. Producer Dave Cox informed us that the PC will probably be the best looking version of Lords of Shadow 2 as Mecury Steam's engine was built for PC first.

I mean, how does this look?
