The delayed MultiVersus Season 1 arrived today, August 15, but developer Player First Games isn’t done with new content yet after they promised to bring “a surprise” and a glimpse at future characters on the loading screen from tomorrow. Thanks to the latest MultiVersus game leak, players are expecting two of those characters to be DC’s Black Adam and Stripe from Gremlins.

Morty from Rick and Morty will arrive in MultiVersus on August 23 while Rick will be released at some point later in Season 1. These are the only confirmed characters for this season so far and will bring the total character roster to 19 fighters. However, Game Director Tony Huynh promised players they would see “a surprise and a look at some future unannounced characters in the login screen tomorrow“, later adding these characters will also be added during Season 1. Unfortunately for them, the image leaked earlier on the Xbox dashboard, as spotted by shady – multiversus leaks & news on Twitter.
The new MultiVersus login screen features DC’s Black Adam and Stripe from Gremlins front and center and more announcements and details are coming for these characters. The leak lines up with a leaked roster that appeared at the start of this month and also mentioned 18 other characters:

- Static Shock
- Poison Ivy
- Robin
- Marvin (Looney Tunes)
- Gandalf (Lord of the Rings)
- Gizmo (Gremlins)
- Eleven (Stranger Things)
- Scooby-Doo
- Daphne (Scooby-Doo)
- Craig (Craig Of The Creek)
- Daenerys (Game of Thrones)
- The Hound (Game of Thrones)
- Beetlejuice
- Godxilla (Monsterverse)
- Wicked Witch (Wizard of Oz)
- Emmet (The LEGO Movie)
There are no guarantees that any of these characters will arrive in Season 1, or even whether they’ll be released at all. Hopefully, some of these characters are also included in the information coming tomorrow.
