Valheim Amongst More Than 35 Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass

The Xbox & Bethesda Games Show included trailers and gameplay footage from more than 30 titles, most of which will be coming to Xbox Game Pass over the last six months of 2022 or the first six months of 2023. However, there were some others that were then sneaked into a press release that weren’t mentioned during the show, including PC hit Valheim. In total, Microsoft revealed 38 games that will arrive on Xbox Game Pass and/or PC Game Pass within the next 12 months.

The games coming to Xbox Game Pass soon

Xbox Game Pass 2022 2023

Head of Xbox Phil Spencer promised they would be bringing at least some of these titles to Xbox Game Pass every month up to and including June 2023. In a surprising move, no games were stealth-dropped into the service with just a single free Halo Infinite crossover DLC for Microsoft Flight Simulator being released today.

The list begins with Naraka: Bloodpoint as a day one release for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and cloud later this month on June 23. The following month will get As Dusk Falls as a day one release on consoles, PC, and cloud on July 19. August and September are a bit more ambiguous with Somerville, A Plague Tale: Requiem, and Valheim all listed for around that time, although we do know Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will be released on September 13.

October is set to be a busier month. Both Scorn and Persona 5 Royal are set to join the service on October 21, but High on Life, Atomic Heart, and Gunfire Reborn are all down for October too. Pentiment will follow in November. Finishing off the year are Party Animals and Slime Rancher 2, both of which are due to be released during November or December.
