The Fortnite Among Us collaboration has launched in partnership with Epic Games as part of their Epic Mega Sale but will continue for an entire year.

Fortnite Among Us

Players who purchase Among Us from the Epic Games Store between now and 11 AM ET on June 9, 2023, will get both of the Fortnite x Among Us crossover items — the Crewmate Back Bling and Distraction Dance Emote — at no further cost. Those who already own Among Us can purchase any Among Us Stars Pack instead. The Crewmate Back Bling comes in ten Styles inspired by the Among Us Crewmate colors: Red, Blue, Green, Pink, Orange, Black, White, Yellow, Brown, and Purple. Meanwhile, the Distraction Dance Emote is inspired by fellow Innersloth game The Henry Stickmin Collection.

Players who make an eligible purchase on the Epic Games Store will receive their items in Fortnite immediately. When the collaboration rolled out yesterday, June 9, some players were finding these items weren’t being granted as they should, but Epic has now sorted out the problems. All affected players should have received their items by now but may need to restart the game to see them.

The collaboration items are only available through the Epic Games Store at the moment, but once received they can be used on any other platform including Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, mobile devices, and cloud gaming. To do this, players need to link their Epic Games account to their account on their desired platform to access the items elsewhere. Players who don’t have access to the Epic Games Store need not panic, though, as the items will be available on the Fortnite Item Shop “at some point in the near future”.

In other news, Layers of Fears was officially announced at Summer Game Fest after plenty of teases from Bloober Team. Elsewhere, Goat Simulator 3 teased us with a parody of Dead Island 2.
