Hidden Elden Ring PVP Arenas Revealed Using Hacks

Several Elden Ring PvP areas have been found in the form of three arenas spread throughout the game’s The Lands Between. As FromSoftware’s Soulsbourne series typically have multiplayer PvP-based DLC not too soon after launch, like the Ashes of Ariandel DLC for Dark Souls III, it is expected that these hidden coliseums will be an integral part of any PvP DLC arriving in the future for Elden Ring.

What we know about the mysterious Elden Ring PvP areas

Several modders, including Garden of Eyes and Lance McDonald, have been able to use free-roam hacks in Elden Ring to locate and peer behind various giant doors that hide extremely large arenas. These circular areas in Leyndell, Northern Limgrave, and Caelid are typically closed off and inaccessible normally.

Since the game’s launch, Elden Ring fans have speculated about what these buildings are made for. Some have guessed that these were just testing areas for the developers to drop in bosses, but since there are three coliseums, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Since one item in front of the coliseum in Leyndell specifically mentions “arenas where ritual combat took place,” it would seem that no theory is necessary. Adding to the evidence is a spectral figure outside the Northern Limgrave arena who opines about how the door won’t happen when all he wishes is “to fight, as a warrior, at last.”

By going out of bounds and into various hallways, the modders reveal that these Elden Ring PvP arenas are substantially large with plenty of room for seating. Notably, the Leyndell arena has beautifully lit corridors and internal coliseum physics. It would seem that FromSoftware understands how much PvP duels are a fan-favorite pastime in its Soulsbourne titles, and they want to capitalize on that and hopefully in the very near future.

In other news, Elden Ring’s concurrent player count has surpassed even GTA5 and Among Us, and an indie Ukraine charity bundle that’s selling 1000 games for just $10 is now available.
