A strong new rumor suggests that a Fortnite Uncharted skin may be released later this month as a crossover between Epic’s battle royale and Naughty Dog’s action-adventure. However, unlike previous PlayStation collabs like God of War, the skin will seemingly be a tie-in between Fortnite and February’s Uncharted movie starring Tom Holland — as opposed to a tie-in with the game Nathan Drake and the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection.
Rumored Fortnite Uncharted skin for Tom Holland movie
A new leak of an item and challenge coming to Fortnite strongly hints at an Uncharted movie tie-in, most likely in the form of at least one skin and a number of cosmetic items.
According to Fortnite dataminers such as HypeX, the Week 11 Challenge — which goes live on February 17 — for Chapter 3 Season 1 features a quest to “collect treasure using an uncharted treasure map.” This is a very Uncharted-like mission, and the suspicious use of the title in the Challenge description makes it seem even more possible.
As for why it’s more likely to be a tie-in with the movie rather than the games, this particular Challenge drops the day before the Uncharted movie’s US release date in theaters — a rather major coincidence. Most probably, this almost certainly means that sometime around February 17 a Tom Holland Nathan Drake skin will appear in Fortnite’s in-game store — perhaps alongside a skin for another character, like Mark Wahlberg’s Sully or Sophia Ali’s Chloe. Fans will have to wait a couple of weeks to find out, but many will be disappointed if the version of Nathan Drake in Fortnite isn’t the game version and is instead another Tom Holland skin.
