A new Zack Snyder’s Justice League 2 rumor is doing the rounds on social media thanks to Snyder himself, who has posted a new tease — and it’s not the only one to appear this month. In fact, there have been three Justice League 2 teases recently: Zack Snyder posted two himself and his second unit director posted another. Are these Justice League 2 rumors real teases of something in the works or is Snyder just playing with his fans?
What is Zack Snyder’s Justice League 2 rumor about?
In the past month, three potential teases for Justice League 2 have appeared online. Justice League’s second unit director Clay Staub posted the first tease on Twitter, with a piece of concept art by Jim Lee taken from the storyboard proposal for Justice League 2 alongside the words “let it begin.” The next posts were both on Zack Snyder’s own Vero account, with the first showing the Snyder Cut’s revised clapperboard alongside a concept picture of Wonder Woman.
The most recent was posted today with the caption “thankful” alongside a zoom-in video of a turkey, but clearly and suspiciously in the background is a copy of the graphic novel ‘Final Crisis.’ This comic tells the story of the triumph of the DC universe’s ultimate villain Darkseid and the battle against him on an apocalyptic Earth — a plot that strongly mirrors the plans for the Justice League sequels, as teased in both the Snyder Cut and Batman V Superman. Clay Staub’s picture shows exactly this event, too. Predictably, fans of Zack Snyder’s Justice League have been losing their minds over these possible teases.
Is it just a coincidence?

Zack Snyder is actually infamous for these kinds of cryptic teases, and in fact, he even posted a similar one with a Thanksgiving turkey back in 2018 when fans started campaigning to “release the Snyder Cut.” This could all just be hope and trying to rally the fans to push for Justice League 2 — which actually worked before — or just outright trolling, but a new DC movie from Zack Snyder certainly seems more possible now than when he told Warner Bros to “suck it” earlier this year.
