When is the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Brewster update?

Brewster will be added to Animal Crossing: New Horizons on November 5, 2021. The release date was confirmed during today’s special Animal Crossing Direct.

Brewster returns from New Leaf, with the fan-favorite having been absent ACNH thus far. Fans will no doubt be pleased to see him return, with Nintendo offering a few more details about what the coffee-making owl will add to the game.

What is the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Brewster location?

Brewster will be located in Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ museum, at the back of the building at the top of the stairs.

It seems that Brewster will not be able to be placed in his own coffee shop, and will instead a permanent resident in the museum. While this will disappoint those who wanted Brewster to have his own shop on their island, the 2.0 update offers plenty more to keep them occupied, with the free update also seeing the return of Kapp’n, plenty more recipes, permanent ladders, and much more.

The long-awaited new update is a big deal for ACNH fans, adding much of what they requested since the game’s launch. Not only is there a free update, but with the addition of Happy Home Paradise, the game has also received its very first paid DLC since its launch.

In other news, we reviewed Metroid Dread, calling it an “excellent comeback” for the series. We also reviewed the new Nintendo Switch OLED, a big upgrade for the handheld and home console hybrid.
