Battlefield 2042 Hardzone Reveal: How to watch the massive mode’s announcement

The Battlefield 2042 Hazard Zone reveal is coming soon, and fans are excited. This brand-new multiplayer mode looks set to shake up the existing Battlefield formula. It’ll vastly increase the scale of battles, as well as providing a high-stakes experience that differs from the modes players are currently used to. As such, anticipation is high. Here’s how to watch the Battlefield 2042 Hazard Zone reveal along with the date and time of the stream.

What is the Battlefield 2042 Hazard Zone reveal date and time?

Battlefield 2042 Hazard Zone

The Battlefield 2042 Hazard Zone reveal will take place on Thursday, October 14. It kicks off at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET/4 PM BST.

As such, you’ll have to tune in at this time to see the first extensive look at Battlefield 2042’s Hazard Zone. So far, we haven’t seen any gameplay of the mode. In fact, the only information on the mode comes from Battlefield datamines exposed in August. They claimed that it’ll be a multi-tiered mode where you battle across several maps in phases. Hazard Zone’s selling point is a big one: if you die, you lose all your gear. As such, it’s set to be a more realistic and engrossing Battlefield experience than ever before.

Speaking at this summer’s EA Play, DICE’s Oskar Gabrielson said it is “not your classic battle royale.” That said, it’ll still be a tense experience. We do know that it is a “high stakes squad-based game mode,” but by avoiding battle royale comparisons, DICE is clearly trying to do something different with it.
