Get Final Fantasy VIII Now On Steam

Final Fantasy VIII is now available on Steam, Square Enix announced today.

This follows the release of Final Fantasy VII, which was released through Valve's service earlier this year. The game is priced at $11.99 and boasts a number of additions and enhancements (including Steam achievements) that improve it over the original PlayStation release.

I think it's safe to say it's only a matter of time before Square releases Final Fantasy IX on Steam as well, rounding out the trio of Final Fantasy titles on the original PlayStation.

If you're interested in picking up FFVIII right now, you can head over to the Steam store listing right here.
