Rumor: Titanfall Beta Coming Before March Release

An article on Edge suggests that there will indeed be a beta for Titanfall, one of the most highly anticipated multiplayer shooters coming for the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. The quote from the article reads:

Respawn’s shooter, still the most impressive next-gen title, arrives in March largely unchallenged by Sony. It’s also multiplayer-only, and it will be preceded by a beta period.

Can't get much more black and white than that, but other than this article, there has been nothing from the developer itself as to whether it is true. There is some speculation that the beta will be officially announced during the VGX video game awards on Spike TV, which is on December 7th at 6 p.m. EST.
