Loki bisexuality in MCU confirmed in show’s third episode

One of the biggest revelations in the latest Loki TV episode was the lead character’s sexuality. Loki being bisexual has finally been confirmed in dialogue. This is another big step forward for bisexual representation in mainstream media. Whereas bisexual Marvel characters have been featured before, the confirmation of their sexuality has never been as clear as it is in Loki episode 3.

Is Loki bisexual in the MCU?

Loki bisexual

Loki is bisexual in the MCU. It is confirmed in episode 3 of the TV show.

Loki’s bisexuality is confirmed in a conversation with Sylvie.

Sylvie: Must’ve been would-be-princesses or perhaps, another prince?

Loki: A bit of both. I suspect the same as you.

This confirms that this Loki, and perhaps Sylvie given the dialogue, is bisexual and has had relations with both male and female partners.

In addition to showing support for bisexual people, this move also opens up the potential for Loki’s future relationships within the MCU. That is assuming he survives the show and is able to once again feature in movies and future Disney Plus series.

Of course, while a big TV show is a significant step for bisexuality representation, clear acknowledgment in blockbuster Marvel movie would be the next milestone.

Twitter is already lighting up with fans happy to see Loki’s bisexuality clearly confirmed. In fact, it appears to be the most talked about revelation of episode 3.

Episode 3 was relatively short with little in the way of big reveals. However, it did provide many bonding moments between Loki and Sylvie.

Elsewhere in the world of Loki, Disney is allegedly trying to trademark “Loki.” This is despite Loki being an ancient mythological god.

No, Mephisto still isn’t in the MCU, despite what some may have interpreted as nods to the villain in episode 1.

Loki “solved” one of America’s greatest mysteries. Here’s how it was done.
