Apex Legends Dragon LMG

New Apex Legends LMG leaked, called ‘Dragon’ and uses Light Ammo

A new Apex Legends LMG has been leaked. An image of the Dragon LMG has been data mined, revealing a new light machine gun that uses Light Ammo. Where this fits into the Apex Legends meta isn’t yet known, as Light Ammo is usually reserved for the softer-hitting weapons. Here’s what’s known about a potential release date and how players will be able to unlock the new weapon.

When is the Dragon LMG being added to Apex Legends?

The Dragon LMG appears to be being added to Apex Legends after the Compound Bow or EPG, likely in Season 10 or 11.

Up until this point, the leaked weapons only included the Compound Bow and EPG. Both of these weapons have been leaked for some time. The 30-30 had also been leaked but has now been released.

If developer Respawn Entertainment releases a new weapon with each new season, that would mean the Compound Bow, EPG, and Dragon LMG would release during seasons 9, 10, and 11.

It’s currently in the testing phase which means nothing is set in stone. In fact, the weapon could be outright removed entirely, left on the cutting room floor to never make an appearance.

Data miner Biast12 shared an image of the Dragon LMG on Twitter. They also explained that the new light machine gun uses Light Ammo.

To unlock the new LMG in Apex Legends players will likely just have to update the game when a new patch drops.

Weapons in Apex Legends are found within the game world. Once it has been added to the loot pool, all players will be able to pick it up.

Experience a throwback to when the game first launched with the GameRevolution Apex Legends review. It stated that “battle royale will never be the same.”

The recent big Apex Legends update went in hard with the Caustic and Mastiff nerfs, removing them from the top-tier of the meta.

The latest big gaming release, Outriders, is now here. Check out the GameRevolution review for an in-depth discussion on whether it’s any good.
