Free-To-Play PS4 Game War Thunder Supports Keyboard And Mouse Controls, Plus Plays Cross-Platform Against PC

War Thunder might not be on your launch-day PlayStation 4 radar, but maybe it should be with keyboard and mouse support, cross-platform play, and already 5 million opponents online and waiting.

That's without mentioning that War Thunder is free-to-play meaning you can turn you PS4 on and immediately download a booming multiplayer game full of other players and neat functionality.

Anyone who's played a shooter or military-themed game on PC can attest that keyboard and mouse controls are the way to go, and while the fancy new DualShock 4 controller will get the job done, I'd still like to see peripheral support like this spread to other consoles and shooters.

Can't afford a high-end PC for Battlefield 4? If only EA and DICE supported mice and keyboards on next-gen consoles or allowed players on next-gen machines to join PC servers full of players. Hopefully War Thunder will put the pressure on other games to bring advanced controller support like this to their own theaters of war.
