Something Street Fighter Is Happening On PS4, But We Don’t Know What Yet

The video above features Ryu, taxi cabs, and some awesome old-school Street Fighter sound effects, but more curiously, Hadouken cabs is apparently brought to us by Sony, PlayStation 4, and the company's viral campaign #4theplayers.

Watch for yourself. The clip is only 30 seconds long, but there are a couple things to note about this campaign. For example, the phone number provided for Hadouken cabs is actually the launch date for the original Street Fighter game in Japanese arcades. Head to HadoukenCabs.com and you'll find an old-school if threadbare website with Ryu and his trusty cab.

Click on "Talk To An Operator" on the site and you'll hear references to plenty of other Street Fighter favorites. "All of our operators are as tied up as Dhalsim, please continue to hold." Soon Zangief will crash the call and more awesome Street Fighter hold music will play. Listen close and it sounds like Street Fighter IV, where other sound clips have been taken from older games.

What the heck does this all mean?! What kind of surprise could be instore from Sony and Capcom?
