PS4 Launch Title Features PC Cross-Compatibility

War Thunder, the World War II MMO from Gaijin Entertainment, is headed to PlayStation 4 at launch, bringing with it cross-platform support. That's right, gamers across both PC and Sony's next-gen console will be able to play together.

I don't know about you, but I really hope we see more of this cross-compatibility as we move into the next generation of gaming. Now that gamers will have consoles that aren't vastly inferior to modern gaming PCs there's no reason developers shouldn't aim to create a unified online experience that spans multiple platforms.

What are your feelings towards cross-platform play? Should PC and PS4 gamers be able to play together or do the different control schemes pose a problem? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
