A Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Series X bundle has appeared at a Polish retailer, suggesting that Microsoft may have held back some consoles for this special packaging. While it’s not quite the same as an Xbox Series X|S restock, it may be your best chance to get Microsoft’s new console before the holidays.
The Xbox Series X|S sold out amazingly fast when it first debuted and it has continued to be a popular seller for the holiday season. Even a recent restock earlier this week sold out rapidly, emphasizing dire warnings from Microsoft that it could be difficult to secure an Xbox Series X|S console well into 2021. Now, a new opportunity to get an Xbox may be arriving soon — along with a bundled copy of Cyberpunk 2077.
Will the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Series X bundle arrive in the West?
The Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Series X bundle appeared at Polish retailer RTV EURO AGD (via Windows Central) recently, priced at 2,399 zł (≈$637.50). That might seem like a lot, but it should be noted that Poland has a VAT (Value Added Tax) that is likely included in this cost.
Based on the product’s packaging, the Xbox Series X console doesn’t appear to have any special Cyberpunk 2077 designs like the Xbox One X and controller bundle that was revealed earlier this year — it appears to simply be a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 packaging in with a vanilla Xbox Series X. This bundle may explain why CD Projekt Red hosted a surprise stream of Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One and Xbox Series X gameplay earlier this week.
Unfortunately, it can’t be said for certain if this bundle is genuine or whether it’s coming to the United States, the UK, or the rest of Europe. The retailer lists a release date for the package of December 10, 2020. If this bundle does make its way to the West, it might be another chance for players to pick up an Xbox Series X console (along with one of the most hotly-anticipated games of the generation) before the holidays arrive.
