HyperX has announced the Cloud II Wireless gaming headset. The original wired Cloud II has sold almost four million units since it launched, making it a best-seller for HyperX. Now it’s going wireless!
The major improvement here is obviously the wireless functionality, which broadcasts at 2.4 GHz for low latency, and boasts up to 30 hours of battery life and up to 20 meters of wireless range.
HyperX’s Vice President Sales and Marketing, Paul Learman, stated the following:
Our goal was to build on the legendary comfort and sound DNA of HyperX Cloud headsets to deliver a wireless version of our best-selling Cloud II. The HyperX Cloud II Wireless headset is designed to carry on the legacy of the original Cloud II, which was first introduced in 2015 and shook up the industry with its iconic design, comfortable fit, and best sound for a headset in its price range.
The HyperX Cloud II Wireless will be compatible with PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch, with next-gen compatibility to be confirmed.
Launching at $149.99 in the U.S., the HyperX Cloud II Wireless will first be available through HyperX’s Online Shop on November 20. Check out the product page for more information.
