Details on the upcoming Amazon Prime Day Nintendo Switch deals have been revealed by the online retailer. A selection of Nintendo Switch games will be available for up to 33% off — and some of the games are on sale right now.
Prime Day is a special sales event run by the online retailer Amazon that features discounts on a wide variety of items across the platform. This special sale usually takes place during the summer, but Amazon Prime Day 2020 had been delayed until later in 2020 as a result of the pandemic. Now, Amazon has revealed that some Nintendo Switch games and associated products will be getting a discount for this upcoming event.
Amazon Prime Day Nintendo Switch deals
Two specific Amazon Prime Day Nintendo Switch deals were highlighted by the retailer in a press release as reported by @Wario64. Firstly, “select Nintendo Switch titles” will have discounts up to 33% off. The second major deal allows players to save 36% on a bundle containing a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online Family membership and a SanDisk 128GB memory card.
There aren’t any specific details on which games will be discounted or, more importantly, whether or not any Nintendo Switch hardware will be on sale. As one example, Nintendo recently restocked the highly-popular Nintendo Switch – Animal Crossing: New Horizons Edition which you can buy right now.
Ring Fit Adventure would be another good choice for a discount, especially since it has sold out repeatedly over the last year. The Nintendo Switch Lite is another product that could do with a discount as it also had problems staying in stock on Amazon.
Players will have to wait to see what the Amazon Prime Day Nintendo Switch deals are when the sale takes place on October 13–14, 2020. For now, you can buy The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze at a respectable 25% discount.
