Animal Crossing: New Horizons Halloween update pumpkin farming

Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ Halloween update adds pumpkin farming, candy, and Jack

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Halloween update has been revealed. You’ll be able to wear a spooky costume, meet the new NPC Jack, and grow pumpkins when the latest Animal Crossing update arrives next week.

We’re just a month away from the spookiest of seasons and Nintendo has a lot of fun in store! New Halloween seasonal items are making their debut, but you won’t be getting the crafting materials in the usual way. You’ll have to actually grow pumpkins in order to make these new goodies — that means that farming has finally come to Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

A big part of Halloween is dressing up in costumes and several improvements to the game will help with that, too! Players will be able to change their skin color to white, green, blue, or purple, and there are also several new eye colors available as well. Able Sisters’ tailor shop will also be adding some cool costumes for you to wear!

Finally, Jack the Pumpkin Czar will be arriving in the game. Jack has a habit of playing tricks on the player, so don’t mess around with him too much! The very end of the announcement teases the return of Franklin and Jingle, so we’ll be seeing even more old friends in the coming months.

You’ll be able to enjoy pumpking farming, spooky costumes, and more when the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Halloween update arrives on September 30, 2020. For now, check out all of the cool new content on the way in the announcement trailer!
