Fallout 76 One Wasteland update level scaling

Fallout 76 One Wasteland update lets low-level players go everywhere

The Fallout 76 One Wasteland update has been announced and it’s debuting a new feature for low-level playersLevel-scaling is finally going to be added to Fallout 76, making it easier than ever for new players to travel throughout Appalachia.

Right now, Fallout 76 does what a lot of other MMORPGs do by restricting certain areas of the game to higher-level players. Nothing really stops a low-level player from entering these areas, but it’s nigh-impossible for them to defeat the super-tough enemies within.

Now, that’s all set to change with the Fallout 76 One Wasteland update. This update is going to introduce level scaling to the game, finally fulfilling a promise that was made all the way back in March 2020 during a PAX East stream. This means that your Level 3 character would be able to go into a Level 30 area and actually have a chance at surviving an encounter with the enemies.

This is certainly good news for new players, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll be able to waltz into any section of the map without any problems. Higher-level areas are likely to still have their unique challenges, so you may want to be careful if you’re heading into a zone that’s particularly dangerous.

You’ll be able to play the Fallout 76 One Wasteland update when it launches tomorrow.
