Just Dance 2021 Wii release dancing

Just Dance 2021 won’t be on the Wii for the first time

There won’t be a Just Dance 2021 Wii release for the first time in a long time. While Nintendo’s Wii console has been essentially dead for some time, a lot of casual gamers were still using it to play the Just Dance games. Now, they’re going to have to upgrade to a new system if they want to keep dancing along to Ubisoft’s party game.

Get ready for the Just Dance 2021!” stated the YouTube description of the newly released Just Dance 2021 Announce Trailer. “Available for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Google Stadia!”

As you can see from the above, there won’t be a Just Dance 2021 Wii release, making Just Dance 2020 the last game in the franchise to be launched on that platform — and possibly the final Wii release by a major publisher. (And no, there won’t be a Wii U release, either.)

Just Dance 2021 will be doing its usual thing, debuting dozens of new songs of all styles for players to jam to. You’ll be able to play Just Dance 2021 when it launches on all major platforms on November 12, 2020.
