Rockstar Makes Up For GTA Online Woes With $500,000 In GTA$

In an effort to make up for the rough launch of GTA Online, Rockstar Games has announced that each player will be compensated with half a million in GTA$.

Anyone who has logged on to play GTA Online during the month of October will receive the hefty sum of virtual cash, which will be rolled out in the form of two deposits at $250,000 each. "For players who experienced cloud server errors, connection issues, and lost game progress and characters in these first days of GTA Online, we hope this GTA$ helps to facilitate a fresh start or makes your continued life in Los Santos and Blaine County extra sweet," an announcement from the studio said.

There's no word yet on exactly when you can expect to recieve the cash, but here's to hoping it is sooner rather than later. That said, do you think this makes up for the game's painfully rough launch? Do gamers even have a right to be upset about the game's online issues? Let us know by commenting below.
