Fall Guys sales 2 million Steam

Fall Guys sales cross 2 million in just one week

It looks like Mediatonic and Devolver Digital’s party battle royale has been phenomenally popular: Fall Guys sales have crossed 2 million copies in just the first week of release on Steam, and that’s despite the game being free on PS Plus.

If you’ve been living under a rock, Fall Guys is a battle royale game… of sorts. Rather than try to get the best guns and shoot your opponents, you’re competing in an intense virtual game show along the lines of Wipeout or MXC. It’s a boatload of fun, and PC players seemed to have taken a particular liking to this brand-new game.

Along with the Fall Guys sales stat, Devolver Digital shared some other interesting numbers from the first week of play:

  • 2,000,000 copies sold on Steam.
  • 1,500,000 crowns grabbed.
  • 23,000,000 hours watched on Twitch.
  • 60,000,000 fallen Fall Guys.

Although there were some early problems with the servers and a knock-off on iOS, Mediatonic and Devolver seem to have weathered the storm. Now, they’re faced with a new problem: which of the absolutely insane crossovers they’ve been talking about will they make next?

For now, you can enjoy the variety of great games by buying Fall Guys on Steam for just $19.99 or your regional equivalent.
