Quakecon at Home will have ‘a few fun secrets’ this Summer

Bethesda has announced Quakecon at Home, an online-only version of their yearly convention centered on all things Quake and Doom. There are sure to be surprises in store — in fact, Bethesda has promised exactly that.

“This year we’re celebrating [QuakeCon at Home],” stated the tweet announcing this online-only event. “Join us for a global online event taking place August 7-9, including livestreams, tournaments, charity fundraising, and a few fun secrets. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks!”

Quakecon is certainly one of the more entertaining events. Last year’s event brought us more details about the then-unreleased Doom Eternal, new platforms for the classic Doom games, and the release of Wolfenstein: Youngblood. 2019’s event also showed off some new stuff from RAGE 2 and kicked off a neat sale, too.

Unfortunately, that’s all we know for now. You’ll be able to watch Quakecon at Home from August 7–9, 2020. More details about what’s going to be at the show and specific times will be released at a later date. For not, you can keep up with this year’s online-only convention at quakecon.bethesda.net.
