Call of Duty: Ghosts Further Details Strategic Squads Mode

Infinity Ward will bring Squads Mode to players in Call of Duty: Ghosts in November, but the latest trailer takes a second look at the mode and gives a general overview of how your collection of soldiers, the same ones you've leveled up in dozens of hours of multiplayer, will fight for you, alongside you, and while you're asleep.

Your "Squad" is made up of every character you've created in Ghosts multiplayer. The Sniper class you like to start with, the Assault class you use to play objectives, and the knifey-run-fast guy you use when you're bored all join together for Squads Mode. You pick a map and save your Squad load out and from then on players might get matched against your squad on your favorite map in your favorite game type.

If they lose to your squad, you'll wake up with more XP, but you can also take your squad into gameplay with you with a bunch of different Squad Vs Squad modes. Check out the trailer above to see it all in action. We'll have more on Ghosts, including a full review and launch coverage, as we get closer to release day.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be out on next-generation consoles at launch and on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, and PC on November 5th. Don't forget to read my hands-on multiplayer preview from the reveal event.
