Transformers: Battlegrounds looks cool, but not everyone loves it

Transformers: Battlegrounds has just been revealed as a new game featuring everyone’s favorite transforming robots, but it doesn’t look like everyone is loving it. Fans are already split on whether or not this new Transformers game will be a great addition to the franchise or a massive disappointment.

Outright Games revealed this new Transformers game earlier today with a trailer and a website. Unlike the popular film series, this game goes for a more cartoony style familiar to longtime fans of the franchise.

From what we see in the trailer, this looks like it’s going to be an action-RPG game of sorts with an isometric perspective. We see a bunch of Autobots and Decepticons battling it out throughout a city in intense fighting before Optimus Prime and Megatron meet up for an epic final showdown.

This new Transformers game will have couch co-op, too, so it seems like it could be great fun to play with your friends. Check out the Transformers: Battlegrounds Teaser Trailer below and swing by the game’s official website for more details. You’ll be able to play this game when it launches on October 23 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
