Rumor: Big Nintendo reveal incoming and it could be Breath of the Wild 2

Rumor: Big Nintendo reveal possibly incoming and it could be Breath of the Wild 2

It’s been a long time since Nintendo has revealed anything about Breath of the Wild 2 since its unveiling at E3 2019. But if a cheeky leaker is to be believed, we might be seeing some more of that game (or some other Switch-related news) sometime this weekend.

This leak comes from HotGirlVideos69 on Twitter. She tweeted to expect “big” Nintendo news this weekend before replying to someone else to “be patient” over Breath of the Wild 2 news. And yes, she noted that it would be odd to reveal this news on the weekend. Regardless, she claims whatever she is teasing, Breath of the Wild 2 or not, is coming very soon.

It might seem bizarre to take news from such a unique account. Video game leakers don’t often have slightly obscured genitals as their profile picture. But she has been accurate in the past, thanks to her clients. She correctly predicted previous Nintendo Directs, E3 2020’s cancellation, and (more or less) Sony’s PS5 reveal event. However, she also claimed Breath of the Wild 2 and Metroid Prime 4 were going to be in the first Direct and even though that Direct happened in some form, those games were not included. She did apologize for that slight inaccuracy, but said that she would never lie about.

Whoever she is, her sources tend to be accurate. And we’re just on the cusp on when E3 would typically happen so it wouldn’t be completely outlandish for Nintendo to cook something up in the near future. Breath of the Wild 2 has been shrouded in mystery for a year, after all. A new trailer or reveal might help tide people over as other rumors have pointed to the anticipated Switch game falling a bit behind schedule and missing its projected 2020 release.
