Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire teaser points to possible livestream

Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire has been teased via the game’s official Twitter account, hinting at something special coming to kick off your summer. If you were hoping to hear some fresh Cyberpunk 2077 news, it looks like we’ll be seeing something new and exciting very soon!

The delay of Cyberpunk 2077 has been rather unfortunate and it’s looking like CD Projekt Red has cooked up something to show us in the meantime. There’s going to be something coming called “Night City Wire” coming in June 2020, although what it’s all about is a bit of a mystery.

Night City is the name of the fictional cyberpunk city where the game takes place. The “Wire” portion presumably refers to some kind of newscast, which would make this a rather appropriate name for an informative event.

The Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire is planned to take place on what would have been the final day of E3 2020, so this may well have been a planned presentation that got repurposed for something new. Whatever the heck this might be, we’re sure to find out in just a few weeks on June 11, 2020.
