new Animal Crossing island designer

This new Animal Crossing island designer is fantastic

new Animal Crossing island designer is in the works and it looks like the best one we’ve seen yet. If you’re keen on planning out the perfect island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, then you should definitely check out this upcoming tool!

Animal Crossing: New Horizons lets players “terraform” their island after a few weeks of playing. Unfortunately, terraforming is labor-intensive work that takes a lot of time. Naturally, some gamers may be reluctant to jump in without having a plan ready.

A 2D planning tool called “Happy Island Designer” has existed for the last few weeks, but it doesn’t exactly capture the true design experience. That’s probably why the Redditor /u/coco-coco started working on a new Animal Crossing island designer and it looks like a serious step up.

Unlike Happy Island Designer, this new tool uses actual 3D graphics and appears to accurately represent the way terraforming works in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This should make planning out your island a heck of a lot easier!

You can check out the progress on the new Animal Crossing island designer on Reddit. If all goes well, we should be able to use it for ourselves in the next few days via itch.io.
