new Nintendo Switch Online free trial

New Nintendo Switch Online free trial can be used by everyone

new Nintendo Switch Online free trial is here — and it can be used by everyone. Yes, that means that you can use this free trial for Nintendo Switch multiplayer gameplay and classic NES and SNES games even if you’ve used one before!

The announcement was made on Nintendo Europe’s Twitter (via Reddit). It’s generally being well-received by the fans on there, although some of them are complaining about the lack of some features for Nintendo’s online service, naturally.

“Enjoy 7 days of online play, 70+ classic #NES and #SuperNES games, and more with a #NintendoSwitchOnline free trial!” the announcement stated. “You can enjoy this offer even if you redeemed a free trial previously.”

No specific reason was given for the reset, but it’s certainly welcome! With last month’s release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons and recent killer sales on the Nintendo eShop, there are probably tons of people who are anxious to play online but are unsure about spending the money on a Nintendo Switch Online membership.

If you want to get together with your friends, you can access the new Nintendo Switch Online free trial via the Nintendo eShop on your console.
