Destiny 2 Guardian Games event features sensational challenges

Get ready for some new competition: the Destiny 2 Guardian Games event is coming! This new Destiny 2 event will pit Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans against each other to see which one is the best class in Destiny 2.

The Guardian Games will be a free event for all Destiny 2 players. Everyone will have three weeks to accomplish a series of challenges depending on their class and there are heaps of rewards up for grabs. What’s more, the class that wins the Destiny 2 Guardian Games event will be represented on the Tower for the rest of the year.

ALSO: Crysis Remastered isn’t Crysis 4 (but it’s still pretty cool)

Of course, the Guardian Games wouldn’t be much of an event without some cool loot for players to earn. This brand-new event certainly doesn’t disappoint — it features new cosmetics, new weapons, and so much more!

What are the Destiny 2 Guardian Games event rewards?

  • “Heir Apparent” Exotic HMG (Heavy Machine Gun)
  • Two new ships and Sparrows in the Eververse
  • New emotes in the Eververse
  • New Universal Ornament Sets in the Eververse
  • A Bungle Rewards Guardian Games Box
  • …and more!

Players will have to face daily challenges for the three weeks that this event will be running. There’s tons of in-game rewards, but there’s a real-world reward, too! You’ll be able to bring home the Bungie Rewards Guardian Games Box by completing the weekly “On Your Laurels” quest. This is an actual, physical item that will be distributed via the Bungie Rewards program.

This is just a hint of what will be coming to this brand-new event. There’s sure to be a lot more cool stuff to see, so you should check out the Destiny 2 Guardian Games event page to see some more of the goodies that are on the way! This event will be running from April 21–May 11, 2020.
