new DuckTales game Quackshots

We hope this new DuckTales game isn’t just a prank

FDG Entertainment has surprisingly announced a new DuckTales game. Titled DuckTales Quackshots, it looks like an amazing new take on a classic Disney franchise. We just hope it’s not a joke.

Lest we forget, today is April Fool’s Day. This means that we’re sure to see a lot of silly pranks out there on the Internet, so it’s entirely possible that this DuckTales Quackshots announcement is a joke. We just really hope it isn’t.

ALSO: Overwatch has been invaded by googly eyes

Looking at the screenshots, we see Donald Duck traveling through multiple levels making use of some strange equipment. In one image, he’s using a plunger attached to a seagull to fly. In others, he’s using a dart gun. Scrooge McDuck and the Beagle Boys make appearances, and Huey, Dewie, and Louie look like they’re playable, too.

While the recent DuckTales Remastered was pretty good, it would be great to see another video game in this franchise. Let’s hope that this new DuckTales game is more than just an April Fool’s joke.
