Death Stranding PS4 hits lowest-ever price prior to PC launch

We’re still a few months away from the PC release of Death Stranding, but patient gamers who haven’t yet bought the game are facing a tempting prospect. The Death Stranding PS4 price has hit its lowest level yet, offering up a staggering discount on the latest game from Hideo Kojima.

Death Stranding is a well-produced game with a lot of star power behind it, so naturally, it’s a $60 title. There have been occasional sales here and there since its launch, but there haven’t been any truly astonishing discounts — until now.

For a limited time, it’s possible to pick up the game at a massive 50% discount at select online retailers. That brings the Death Stranding PS4 price down to just $29.99.

Of course, this is for the PS4 version of the game, so PC players are out of luck at saving a few bucks. That said, a 50% discount is pretty aggressive for a game that’s been out less than four months; odds are good that PC players might be able to save just as much money during a future Steam sale before the end of 2020.
