Ghost of Tsushima horse armor DLC

Ghost of Tsushima horse armor DLC is giving us bad flashbacks

Ghost of Tsushima horse armor DLC and it’s giving us flashbacks to the darker days of gaming.

The “Hero of Tsushima Skin Set” is available to players who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition or Collector’s Edition as shown in this PlayStation blog post. It includes a golden mask, body armor, a sword kit, and armor for your horse… and that last part comes close to a nightmare from more than ten years ago.

If you’re a younger gamer, you might not remember the absolute uproar that took place when DLC for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion started coming out. Part of that included a “horse armor” skin that cost a whopping $2.50. While buying skins is pretty normal today, pricing a single skin at $2.50 was seen as pretty outrageous.

It’s 14 years later and the Ghost of Tsushima horse armor DLC will probably bring back bad memories for a lot of old-school gamers. If they ever decide to sell it on its own, it’s probably best to not make it cost too much.
