Uncharted movie Antonio Banderas

Uncharted movie picks up Shrek and Zorro star Antonio Banderas

The Uncharted movie has added a little bit more star power to its cast with the addition of Antonio Banderas to the cast. The star of movies ranging from action-packed movies like Robert Rodriguez’s “Mexico Trilogy” to sillier fare like Spy Kids will also be joined by a couple other notable names.

Variety reports that Mr. Banderas has officially signed on to the film, joining co-stars Tom Holland (Spider-Man: HomecomingAvengers) and Mark Wahlberg (The DepartedTransformers). Other additions to the cast include Sophia Ali (Grey’s AnatomyThe Wilds) and Tati Gabrielle (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, The 100) according to sources speaking with Variety.

ALSO: Monster Hunter movie posters are kind of disappointing

Ruben Fleischer has been confirmed as the film’s director following an announcement made in January. Mr. Fleischer’s directorial works include Venom and Zombieland: Double Tap.

These new cast additions will certainly make for an interesting mix of entertainers on the screen. You’ll be able to see all of these new faces on the silver screen when the Uncharted movie comes to theaters on March 5, 2021.
