Valorant gameplay preview combines CS:GO with Overwatch

Valorant is the upcoming FPS from League of Legends creator Riot Games, with a recently released gameplay preview showcasing its team-based gameplay. Combining CS:GO‘s tactical shooting with Overwatch‘s hero-based abilities, the gameplay preview shows an internal developer playtest in the alpha version of the game.

Valorant is set to be released in summer 2020, operating on 128-tick servers to ensure a competitive environment. It will place players in 5v5 match-ups, where guns will be combined with “hypernatural” powers that will allow characters to perform unique abilities.
