NZXT is attempting to bring Mini-ITX into the mainstream with its new H1 case. This small form-factor PC case has a number of party tricks that allow for easier installation of components (especially when compared to other small cases), as well as some included extras that make the seemingly steep price tag of $350 actually reasonable.
You see, the NZXT H1 case isn’t just a housing for components, as it comes with its own high-end small form-factor power supply and CPU liquid cooler. What’s more, these are both pre-installed and ready to go, which should make for a super simple building process. Just throw in the CPU and RAM-equipped motherboard, plug in the well-placed cables, add drives and the graphics card, and away you go.

In theory, at least, this should make for a quick-and-easy build that avoids the usual frustrations and troubleshooting that comes with small form-factor Mini-ITX cases.
The H1 also looks a little like the Xbox Series X, and I imagine a number of buyers will be making “Xbox Series X Killer” machines using the H1 as inspiration. In fact, we here at GameRevolution will be reviewing the H1 and creating our own console-killing machine. So stay tuned for that!
The new H1 case is available in black or white. You can buy it here.
Though there isn’t yet a case-only model available, NZXT has emphasized that it is always open to feedback.
Check out the image below for everything that’s included with the NZXT H1, in addition to how the case looks when disassembled for building and maintenance.
The all-new NZXT H1 provides a beautifully small vertical chassis, maintaining full-sized GPU compatibility. The building experience is streamlined, with pre-routed cable channels and an integrated PSU and AIO liquid cooler. The dual-chamber exhaust layout maintains superior cooling for the CPU and GPU, providing each with a dedicated air source.
- The compact vertical design provides a small spatial footprint while maintaining support for most full-sized GPU’s on the market so you can maintain your desk real estate without sacrificing graphics power.
- The toolless SSD tray and riser card are incredibly simple to install. In addition to pre-routed cables, the motherboard I/O faces down, routing all cables through the bottom of the case for a clean, simplified appearance.
- Integrated power supply and AIO liquid cooler provide a better build experience, along with pre-routed cables that make it easy to manage the clutter and cut down on build time. An integrated PCIe Riser card is also included for vertical GPU mounting.
- The dual-chamber airflow is thermally designed to allow the CPU, GPU, and PSU to pull in fresh air, and exhaust hot air without affecting temperatures of neighboring components.
