Animal Crossing: New Horizons PAX East showcase features playable demo

Details about the Animal Crossing: New Horizons PAX East showcase have been announced by Nintendo. There’s pretty good news for your PAX East attendees out there: there will be a playable Animal Crossing: New Horizons demo at this year’s show.

Nintendo announced the good news in a tweet, stating that there would be a playable demo on the show floor for all four days. This will be the first time that the public can get their hands on a playable version of the game.

Although that’s pretty cool, Nintendo is also promising to bring along something else. A “full-scale immersive booth experience” that was inspired by Animal Crossing: New Horizons will also be a part of their lineup at PAX East this year, although the Japanese game developer declined to share any further details.

We’re sure to hear more about this game as we get ever closer to its release date. You can play the Animal Crossing: New Horizons PAX East demo on the show floor from February 27–March 1, 2020. The rest of us will have to wait for the game to come out on March 20, 2020.
