Stadia Android update brings game streaming to 19 more phone models

A Stadia Android update has been announced, finally bringing Google’s game-streaming experience to several new Android phones. This includes models in the Samsung Galaxy line, making for a total of 19 new phones added to the service.

The blog post highlights a long list of new phone models that can now be used to play compatible Google Stadia games.

  • Samsung Galaxy S9

  • Samsung Galaxy Note9

The phones announced in this Stadia Android update join the Google Pixel 2, 3, and 4 devices which can already be used in this fashion. You’ll be able to enjoy Stadia games on the above-listed phones starting on February 20, 2020.
